Lamictal

Lamictal is an epilepsy medication used to treat and prevent seizures. It has also been used to treat certain kinds of bipolar disorder. However, Lamictal has been linked to serious rashes, including Steven-Johnson's syndrome. At least one rash-related death has been reported. It is also reported that indvidiuals have received the drug Lamictal for treatment of toenail fungus, when in fact they should have received Lamisil. Therefore, the individuals were improperly treated with epilepsy medication and faced risks of side effects and complications. Individuals who have received Lamictal rather than Lamisil and have experienced complications may have the right to seek compensation for their pain and suffering, medical bills and more.
