Unprofessional Conduct

Unprofessional conduct is when a physician, nurse, or other medical professional behaves in a way that is less than professional. If a doctor, nurse, or medical professional behaves with unprofessional conduct and it affects the individual in a mental or physical way, he or she may have the right to file a suit against the medical professional for pain and suffering or even mental anguish. Sometimes, unprofessional conduct can be considered medical malpractice - such as when a medical professional refuses to give an individual the pain medicine he or she needs because of a medical condition.
