Question:

I had surgery in 2008,  and after the surgery the doctors could not get my blood pressure to go up. They realized that I had internal bleeding because they had cut into my right overy. They had to do a emergency surgery and ended up cutting out the ovary. I have several problems that I did not have before. Forgetting where I am going, falling, and many other issues not being able to communicate.

Do I have a medical malpractice case? What are my rights? Should I talk to a medical malpractice lawyer?

Answer:

Errors in surgery such as your case can often be attributed to medical negligence. If negligence results in an injury, the doctor or hospital may be held liable for the damages. You should talk to a medical malpractice lawyer immediately, because there is a statute of limitation for bringing a medical malpractice lawsuit. It varies from one to three years depending on the state in which the incident occurred.
