Donda Wests Cosmetic Surgery Complications

According to a recent release that was issued by Donda Wests’ publicist, Patricia Green, Kanyes’ mother died “as result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure.” However, in respect for the family in this time of grieving there were no further releases with regards to the causes and conditions of her death.

There have been a very large amount of difficulties in cosmetic surgery procedures in the last few years that have led to the death of patients. When someone decides that they want to have a cosmetic surgery operation, the shear nature of a person having enough desire to actually have an operation to enhance their appearance is enough evidence to support the idea that they are willing to accept certain risks.

However, it is the responsibility of the physician or the surgeon to carefully weigh the decision whether to move forward with the cosmetic surgery procedure or avoid the complications and inform the patient that the risks are too high. Most surgery patients are not medical professionals, and are not aware of the immediate or latent dangers that a cosmetic surgery may carry.

In a report that was given by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American public spends over $11,000,000.00 a year on plastic surgery procedures. When there is an opportunity to provide a cosmetic surgery procedure it is only natural that a cosmetic surgeon will be more than willing to offer their services.

If you consider the amount of professional standing and financial rewards that a cosmetic surgeon stands to gain from performing a cosmetic surgery procedure to a famous actress or movie star, one can only imagine how much more willing a surgeon would be to perform the surgical procedure for that patient than one of their “regular” patients.

 In situations as such are cosmetic surgeons willing to put the health and safety of their patients at risk? Obviously it would be in the best interests of the surgeon to exemplify their surgical expertise and perform the surgery with their best efforts. Then again, what cosmetic surgeon would turn down an opportunity that could possibly rocket their career into a position of success?
